HARWICH – Here is a sweet song by two phenomenal musicians playing in a spectacular venue.
Drummer Gary Lamb has a regular gig at the Outer Bar at the Wequassett Resort & Golf Club. He plays there several days a week as The Gary Lamb Band with various guitar players, he said. On the day we visited, we saw him play with a guitarist we’ve already become a fan of, Derek Teichert.
Together, they created a very nice sound, and Teichert’s song, “Sugar In My Cup,” was a perfect soft love song for this perfect lovely day.
Then we had a beer at the outdoor bar and hung around to hear Lamb sing one of the nicest versions of The Beatles, “In My Life,” that we’ve ever heard.
Yes, music by these two was the sugar in our cup.
