FALMOUTH – It was like we saw the Falmouth Marine Building for the very first time, and it was a revelation.
We have walked and driven past the building countless times and it always appeared as somewhat nonchalant, aging, and mostly in the way of our view of Falmouth Harbor.
But suddenly, with the light hitting it just so, the long Falmouth Marine building became a work of art, a sort of Hopper-esque iconic slice of our seaside New England landscape.
