Falmouth Harbor At Dusk Before A Snowstorm

Falmouth Harbor Snow dusk
Written by Brian Tarcy

FALMOUTH – They say a big storm is coming. Who are they? We have no idea. But we don’t think they like us.

It doesn’t matter what they say. The weather will do what it wants no matter what anyone says, and it least we know that here on Cape Cod it is guaranteed to put on quite a show. In fact, just a few inches of snow painting the world changed everything.

Even the preview is pretty spectacular. We found ourselves at the mouth of Falmouth Harbor just after sunset as the Quickwater left for Martha’s Vineyard. We also wandered up on the deck of the Clam Shack and meditated about a plate of fried clams.

But then we got cold, so we left to wait for the snow they say is coming.
