Dog In Sunglasses

Written by Brian Tarcy

HARWICH – As anyone can tell you, sunglasses are cool. Just ask Snicker the dog. Well, okay, let’s ask his owners, Pat Wood and Cathy Morris.

“He’s definitely the coolest dog on the beach,” said Morris, who lives with her wife, Wood, and Snicker, 9-year-old schnoodle (schnauzer + poodle) in Harwich. The three of them went a walk late Wednesday afternoon on Earle Road Beach in Harwich. All three were wearing sunglasses.

Snicker got his at a pet store. “We saw them in a pet store and thought, wait a minute, that will keep the sand out of his eyes,” said Wood. On walks before he had sunglasses, Snicker used to paw at his eyes. But no more.

“Oh, these are cool,” said Morris, “but they are for comfort.”
