Cerise & the Charlie Jamieson Group at Falmouth Arts Alive – Town Dance Video

FALMOUTH – One of the many unexpected joys of living on Cape Cod is that you can run into an outdoor arts festival and see a performance like this from Cerise & The Charlie Jamieson Group.

Cerise was spectacular, with a voice that was both sweet and powerful. And the band, featuring Charlie Jamieson on piano and vocals, Nice Rice on bass, and Dennis Norbrega on flute (and sax and clarinet) and vocals, and Phill Vitali on drums, were polished and professional.

Check out the drum solo by Vitali, one of the coolest drum solos we’ve ever seen by one of the coolest drummers we’ve ever seen.

In a tent on the Falmouth Library Lawn, the band played classics from jazz to rock and more while folks displayed some impressive ballroom dancing skills. This was a town celebrating the beginning of summer

– If you like Cape Cod music, here is a story that Cape Cod Wave did on the Cape Cod original music scene. We interviewed 20 musicians, four club owners, and two radio deejays – Cape Cod Music And The Joy Of Being Originally Alive

And here is a link to our growing collection of local music videos – 2-Minute Video
