Blue Sky Spring Day at Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro

Written by Laura M. Reckford

TRURO – When waves hit the sandbar at an empty Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro, do they make a sound?

In these quick weeks before spring turns to summer, there is still time to savor the solitary stillness of a local beach. Time to slow down to watch the shadows and study the animal tracks.

On a recent spring day, one person stood to watch the waves and took time to stretch on a mostly empty beach. The only sound was crashing waves and the occasional squawk of a seagull looking for company.
