The Amy Paul Project in Dennisport – VIDEO

DENNISPORT – Does it get any better in early June than finding some original soulful blues in a brand new venue that looks like a promising entry into the local music scene on Cape Cod?

The answer is no it does not. We went to Etzy’s Wine & Bistro Bar, a friendly cool-looking new venue in Dennisport to see The Amy Paul Project. As fans of original music, we discovered Amy Marie almost by accident when we went to see her popular cover band, Just Like That, and we were pulled into their energy.

Back then, we heard that the charismatic singer had a side project that was something more than on the side. Something about originals, a great guitarist, and some soulful stuff that would knock our socks off. Well, consider our socks knocked.

Amy Marie recently won Female Vocalist of the Year from another magazine that covers music in New England. We don’t give out awards. But here is a video from an award winning vocalist.

This is the Amy Paul Project, with Amy Marie on vocals, Paul Constas on guitar and Daniel Ellis on cajon, playing an original, “Follow With A Chaser.”
