Amazing Falmouth Sunset With Ducks – VIDEO

FALMOUTH – As we were watching a large flotilla of ducks while the sun set on Salt Pond, someone stopped by to look also and they told us that there are 600 Greater Scaup ducks on Salt Pond.

They were fascinating to watch as the sun went slowly down.

First, they were spread all over the pond, moving as one organism in various shapes. But as the light on the pond faded and found only a few remaining spots oh the water, the ducks followed.

Watching the flotilla of ducks tighten into that slowly moving spot of light on the water was sort of like watching a sleepy dog follow an afternoon sun ray through a window.

Oh, and the sunset was pretty cool too.
